Who we are
Behind Lanzarote Bike is the young company Paceheads from Germany. Paceheads was founded in Hamburg in 2019 by Franz Bayer and Fabian Helbing - who became known for their innovative Paceheads subscription, which allows cyclists to flexibly rent high-quality equipment. The idea behind it: To get people excited about cycling and make it easier to get started with a fair model without high purchase costs.
Lanzarote Bike has also been part of the Paceheads family since August 2025. With the takeover of Michael Albrecht, we are continuing the bike rental business on the island - with the same passion, the best service and the clear goal of getting even more people excited about cycling.
